In China the growing poplution is causing habitat loss for these giant pandas. The unofficial Chinese mascot has only 1000-2000 left of its kind in the wild. The giant panda can be between 2-3ft at the shoulder. They live to about 4-8 years. They eat bamboo and due to distruction its being cut down. You can help by donating or "adopting" a panda, on world wildlife fund, or other proven good sites.
The pink river dolphin is a very rare dolphin, most people havent even heard of them. They are dying out by 10% a year. Sound familiar, it should, thats exactly what is happening to manatees. The pink dolphin is being killed by urban development, economic changes, water pollution and environmental pollution, thanks to humans, humans also cut off their fins to use as fishing bait, FISHING BAIT. Whats even worse they just leave them their to die.
The black rhino or also known as the hooked lipped rhino is a species native to Africa. This rhino is critically endangered. In Africa they had conservational success, but due to outstanding levels of poaching all their work could be ruined. The black rhino is hunted because of the demand for rhino horns. I mean you don't need a horn, think about it as if someone killed you just to get your hair. Now that you see my point of view go out in the world and make a difference.
This bird used to roam the plains, but now due to hunting and habitat loss there is an estimated 250 left in the world. So if you are in India or Pakistan and your reading this warn people about this problem. They tried to breed the birds in captivity but it didnt work so all they/we can do is protect their habitats, hope, and cross our fingers.

They are found in the Iberian Peninsula and their extinction would be the first of all the feline species. Their were two diseases and a sharp decline in their main food resource. These animals are horrible at adapting to new food. That's why they are dying out. We need to do something. Click the lynx link on the link page and symbollically adopt a lynx or donate to the organization. It will help, this is a really good organization.
Ever seen the rhinos at the Milwaukee county zoo. Well take that image, and completely erase the horns. The zoo has southern black rhinos, and the rhino that is critically endangered is the northern white rhino. The one i'm talking about have stubbier horns, and is critically endangered. their so endangered that they are believed to be extinct in the wild. They only have ten altogether in two conservation places in the Czech republic and California. they are so protected that they have guards with them 24/7, to protect them from poachers. If you have any ideas on something we can do please comment.
The most critically endangered species is the ivory-billed woodpecker, which lives, or lived, in the Southeastern part of the US as well as Cuba. This huge woodpecker was considered extinct until 2004, when some reports of sightings in Arkansas and Florida began to come in. However, definite proof of the ivory-bill’s existence has remained unknown, and if a population does exist, it is likely to be tiny and extremely vulnerable. The ivory-billed woodpecker owes its near, or complete extinction to habitat loss (logging) as well as over, exploitation by humans, who hunted it for its feathers. You read that we caused the extinction to this cute defenseless animal. If you want to help them take the survey that is in the links page under Ivory-Billed Woodpecker, because you can make a difference in a click of a button.
